London, December 2025 – The Arora Group is delighted to announce the appointment of Elaine Carolan as the General Manager of the highly anticipated Sofitel Dublin Airport hotel. Carolan brings with her over 20 years' experience in upper-scale Irish and international brands, and will oversee all aspects of the hotel's operations, leading the team as the new property prepares for its grand opening at the end of 2026.
As a Proven Leader in Hospitality and Airport Operations, Elaine brings a wealth of expertise and a proven track record of commercial success and exceptional quality standards. She has spent the last thirteen years at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Dublin Airport, where she served as General Manager since January 2017, managing Ireland's largest international airport hotel. Prior to this, she spent time with O’Callaghan Hotels and D Hotel, Drogheda.
In 2022, Elaine was named the Irish Hospitality Institute Hotel Manager of the Year. More recently she secured the Failte Ireland Employer Excellence Award - Best Large Employer 2025 and consistent recognition in the Great Place to Work Ireland awards.
